Warming Time with Notes, Illuminating Life with Healing

Since its establishment, Half lecture half concert has used music as a medium to create a variety of distinctive and heart-touching concert experiences across seasons, themes, and settings. We not only present the essence of art but also strive to explore the deep emotional connections and healing power of music, making each performance a memorable moment of shared empathy. We interpret the dialogue between music and the human heart from different dimensions:

New Year Concert
Blending classical and contemporary repertoire to accompany the audience in bidding farewell to the old and welcoming the new. Through solemn and celebratory melodies, we offer a ceremonial tribute to time and hope.

Studio Ghibli Animation Music Serie
Recreating the fantasy and depth of animated worlds through the iconic scores of Joe Hisaishi. Music becomes wings to traverse reality, awakening collective memories across generations.

Spring Concert at Oxford
Inspired by nature, using ethereal melodies to depict the rejuvenation of all things. Through the interplay of piano, flute and strings, we provide a refreshing sensory immersion.

Life Care Charity Performances
We also step beyond traditional stages, collaborating with organizations such as Arthur Rank Hospice Charity to bring soothing live music to wards and hospice centers, putting the social healing value of music into practice.

Chinese Poetry Concert
Melodically reinterpreting ancient verses. This series bridges millennia of literary beauty with melodic expression, immersing the audience in the reflective elegance of traditional Chinese culture.

Cyber Eastern Concert
Where tradition meets futurism: an experimental fusion of vocal, piano, cello, pipa, guzheng, and guqin, complemented by immersive digital visuals and AI. This innovative series reimagines Eastern philosophical themes within a tech-aesthetic framework, creating a powerful dialogue between the ancient and the avant-garde.

More Than Performance—A Resonance of the Soul

Each concert is an extension of our philosophy:
Sound Reaches the Heart, Rhythm Carries Meaning, Knowing Leads to Action, Action Achieves Impact.
We aim to use music as a gentle footnote, accompanying you through the various seasons of life—whether in celebration, nostalgia, anticipation, or in moments requiring comfort and understanding.
